1/3-9/2014 Eleuthera, Bahamas

Jenna and I ventured to the Bahamas after the New Year to catch up on some much needed R & R.  This was our first visit, specifically to the long-skinny island of Eleuthera. The laid-back culture and friendly atmosphere was a much needed diversion from the Chicago suburb hustle and bustle (especially after dealing with travel issues on Delta Airlines).  Driving on the left side of the road was a little weird at first, but we quickly got used to it.  The weather conditions weren't perfect, but we did enjoy three days with mostly sunny skies.  We spent most of our time at Ten-Bay beach, where low-tide was a spectacular site.
